I've only met one family with a pizza oven. It was built into their backyard, on a property surrounded by acres of land. This is to say I'd never really considered a pizza oven as something for my life, i.e. living in an apartment in Sydney, despite being a pizza lover who frequently orders it when eating out. But I guess I'd never looked into it properly. There are plenty of pizza ovens on the market that promise restaurant-quality pies made in the comfort of your own home.

When you find out that eating at one of Sydney's buzziest new restaurants will cost at least $325 per person, the first question that comes to mind is probably: Is it worth it? It's a lot of money whether we're in a cost-of-living crisis or not. The amount for one person is what many people might spend on a group meal, including drinks. But what is expensive for some is good value for others, depending on the occasion and how much an incredible dining experience means to you.

One thing I love more than drinking coffee every day is not having to buy coffee every day. For years, I have been a pod coffee girlie. It started when I was still living at home and our family got a Nespresso machine. It continued when I moved out and realised I needed a coffee machine. Pod coffee works for me because while I enjoy buying coffee from a cafe, it's a special treat, and I'd rather put the money I would spend on daily takeaway coffee towards something else.

There's a trend on social media where people talk about the items they would rebuild their wardrobes or makeup collections with if they had to start from scratch. Sometimes it's 'the 10 items I would rebuy for my wardrobe', or any other number.

However, if you want a little more guidance without going to places that will be overrun with other tourists, or want to get to know Paris on a deeper level, there are options.
