Nine Network
Nine.com.au, previously known as Ninemsn, is an Australian online platform owned by Mi9, a branch of Nine Entertainment Co., in collaboration with Microsoft. It began in 1997 as a 50:50 partnership between Microsoft and PBL Media (now part of Nine Entertainment Co.) under the name "Ninemsn." In 2013, Microsoft divested its share in the venture, leading to Nine Entertainment taking full ownership. The site was officially renamed Nine.com.au on June 28, 2016. This website acts as the primary online hub for the Nine Network. During its time as Ninemsn, it replaced the main MSN site in Australia and became the default page for users logging out of Outlook.com. Since then, Microsoft has launched a new version of MSN specifically for Australia.

Gold Coast Suns coach Damien Hardwick found out nothing goes unnoticed during an AFL game - especially if you're in the coaches' box. Late in his side's loss to the Giants on the weekend, Hardwick was left frustrated by a non-call that stopped his side from having one last chance at stealing a win. The coach laughed sarcastically at the umpire's reluctance to blow the whistle, then flipped the bird from inside the coach's box, in an act of defiance that did not make it to broadcast.

Broncos great Gorden Tallis has questioned the club's decision to pay two veteran playmakers ahead of club junior Selwyn Cobbo. Cobbo, 23, was dropped from the NRL for the past two weeks and is without a contract for next season. The club is facing a salary cap squeeze after last week signing Adam Reynolds, 34, to a one year extension worth around $500,000 and centre Kotoni Staggs on a deal that finishes at the end of the 2028 season and is reported to be worth around the $700,000-a-year mark.
