The identities of two more Gilgo Beach victims have been revealed 27 years after the brutal murders. Jane Doe No 3, also referred to as Peaches, was named as US Army veteran Tanya Denise Jackson, 26. Nassau County officials during a press conference in Long Island on Wednesday also identified Jackson's two-year-old daughter as Tatiana Marie Dykes. The identifications of the mother and daughter were made previously, but not disclosed in light of the ongoing investigation.

A Harvard Medical School scientist working on a ground breaking cancer detection microscope has been detained by US immigration officers and faces possible deportation to Russia. Kseniia Petrova, 30, of Russia, was arrested at Boston Logan International Airport in mid-February and is being held at the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Richwood Correctional Center in Monroe, Louisiana.
