GOOCHLAND, Va. (WWBT) - As grocery prices soar, Powhatan and Goochland counties are joining forces to launch farmers’ markets aimed at supporting the local farming community. The Powhatan Village and Goochland Courthouse Farmers Markets will run from May to September. These markets, previously overseen by Lisa Dearden, founder and Executive Director of RVAg, are now directed by the County’s administrators, Parks and Recreation Directors, and Finance departments.
