On Tuesday, August 20, the Fluvanna County Sheriff’s Office received multiple reports of a threat regarding Fluvanna County Middle School (FCMS). It is reported that during a voice call between students, two males joined the voice call and made threats to “shoot” or “blow up” FCMS.

The division pays bus drivers two hours of overtime for every after-school activity they complete, regardless of how long it takes for them to complete it. It’s a long time practice for the River City. Some say it’s causing an increase in overtime pay, and some don’t want to see it change.
