FALMOUTH, Ky. (WXIX) - The former mayor of Falmouth, Kentucky is facing charges after being accused of trespassing on city property. Falmouth police say they arrested Sebastian Ernst, who was impeached for “neglect of office” in Jan. 2024, after what they’re calling a series of “escalating incidents.”Police say Ernst went to the police department Monday and threatened city employees.

CINCINNATI (WXIX) - A grand jury indicted two Cincinnati parents on Tuesday for allegedly abusing their 3-week-old baby last summer. Alison Brueckner and Jacob Schmidt are facing charges of felonious assault and endangering children in Hamilton County court. Prosecutors allege that Brueckner and Schmidt took the baby to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital in July 2024 because of an eye injury.

CINCINNATI (WXIX) - A Lebanon man is facing multiple charges after he allegedly stole from residents at a group home while he was employed there. James Breen was the HR director and program director at Residential Group Homes Incorporated’s Lebanon location at the time of the theft allegations. Residents with disabilities live at the home and have their own personal financial account with money for them to use, which is stored in envelopes.

HAMILTON, Ohio (WXIX) - Twelve years after a father of four, who built his own business, was shot in cold blood inside of his Hamilton shop, the murderer has not been identified. On March 16, 2013, Ken McGhee said he was with his brother Broderick McGhee and a friend inside of Broderick’s shop, “McGhee’s Kustom Motors,” when someone opened fire on them through a window.

CINCINNATI (WXIX) - A man accused of letting his dogs attack Cincinnati police officers was indicted by a grand jury Monday, according to the Hamilton County Prosecutor’s Office. 26-year-old Darryl Stowers was indicted on one felonious assault charge, as well as two additional misdemeanor charges of assault and resisting arrest. Cincinnati police say that on March 29, they responded to 100 Craft Street around 1 a.m. after receiving reports that someone had fired shots.
