It’s that time of year again: Marvel is dropping the covers for its annual Pride Month comic, and a certain iconic couple is back, back, back again. In 2024, characters Hercules and Iceman caught the gays’ attention for their pose on one of the Pride variant covers: The hulking, hairy Hercules stood with his arm around the smaller, smirking Iceman (whose arched back immediately raised queer eyebrows).
