AbstractTauopathies are a group of age-related neurodegenerative diseases characterized by the accumulation of pathologically hyperphosphorylated tau protein in the brain, leading to prion-like aggregation and propagation. They include Alzheimer’s disease (AD), progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP), corticobasal degeneration (CBD), and Pick’s disease (PiD).

Skin samples were collected from two primary sources: (1) Cadavers with neuropathologically confirmed diagnoses of tauopathies and normal controls, and (2) Living patients with clinical diagnoses of AD and PSP. We performed RT-QuIC technique to examine the prion-like seeding activity of pathological tau. Statistical analyses were conducted to assess the sensitivity and specificity of the assay, utilizing different tau substrates to understand the impact on assay performance.

AbstractZearalenone (ZEN), produced by Fusarium species, is a potential risk to human health. Traditional enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) is restricted due to low sensitivity for the detection of ZEN. Herein, enzyme nanocomposites (ALP-SA-Bio-ssDNA, ASBD) were prepared with the self-assembly strategy based on streptavidin-labeled alkaline phosphatase (SA-ALP) and dual-biotinylated ssDNA (B2-ssDNA).

Two pepper accessions with obvious differences in resistance to P. capsici were obtained by screening 200 pepper germplasms for P. capsici resistance [62]. Resistant genotype A204 (called R), a landrace collected from south China, is highly resistant to P. capsici, similar to the resistant material CM334. Susceptible genotype A198 (called S) from north China shows obvious susceptibility to all P. capsici isolates in Jiangxi Province, China.

Relevant researchers have studied ecological moni-toring under different conditions. Ma et al. [5] selectedinput variables based on mutual information, optimizedsupport vector regression to predict the displacement ofseepage-driven landslide, and improved the accuracy ofseepage-driven landslide prediction by combining mutualinformation and dual-input symmetry correlation criteria. However, the monitoring rate of this method needs to beverified. Shirokova et al.

AbstractIn this work, a facile ultrasonic-assisted chemical replacement method was developed for the recovery of copper and tin from tinned copper wire waste. The reaction conditions for the process were optimized (e.g. hydrochloric acid concentration, copper sulfate concentration, ultrasonic frequency, ultrasonic power, reaction time). The ultrasonic method accelerated the tin removal process and promoted the tin removal efficiency.
