1 Introduction Extracellular vesicles (EVs), including exosomes and ectosomes, are cell-derived single or multi-bilayer membrane structures on the nano/micro scale.[1] EVs contain bioactive cargo, such as nucleic acids,[2] lipids,[3] proteins,[4] and carbohydrates,[5] that play critical roles in intercellular communication.[6] The bioactive cargo of EVs makes them promising therapeutic agents for various conditions.[7] Additionally, the surfaces of EVs mediate transport within the body and...

Multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) have been widely used in many disciplines and raised great concerns about their negative health impacts, especially environmental and occupational exposure. MWCNTs have been reported to induce fibrotic responses; however, the underlying mechanisms remain largely veiled. Here, we reported that MWCNTs inhalation induced lung fibrosis together with decreased lung compliance, increased elastance in the mice model, and elevated surface tension in vitro.

4.1. Contrastive ExperimentsTo ensure the performance of the fusion network, we need to further discuss the choice of parameters λ. To weigh the effects between them, we first set them to 100, 1000, and 10,000 and performed preliminary analysis. The results of the fused images are shown in . From the experimental results in , when λ was 100 or 1000, there was little difference in the fusion results, while the brightness of the former was obviously weaker, and there was loss of some texture details.
