22nd September 2024 Ahmed Amshi Unconfirmed reports indicate another act of vandalism on the electricity infrastructure along the Damaturu-Maiduguri line. According to sources, the incident occurred on Sunday, marking the third such attack on the electricity towers in the area. The Transmission Company of Nigeria had previously reported similar incidents. In July 2024, TCN announced that vandals had destroyed two of its towers along the Damaturu-Maiduguri line.
