NO. 1: A federal appeals court has upheld Alaska LNG’s ability to ship the super-chilled fuel to non-free trade agreement (NFTA) countries – if it is built. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit (DC Circuit) found that the Department of Energy (DOE) properly reviewed potential environmental impacts of the project exporting LNG when an NFTA license was issued.
