After North Huntingdon won a three-year legal battle that went to the state Superior Court before it could demolish the vacant and deteriorating Rivertowne Pub & Grille along Route 30, township officials now are dealing with apparent squatters on the property. Kevin wrote an excellent story in the Tribune-Review on Stan Savran. We lost a legend in broadcasting. Will miss his insight on Steeler post-game shows, WDVE and his radio show.

Stan Savran was so appreciative that I took this photo of him interviewing Mario Lemieux. We lost a sportscasting legend in Stan, who shared his love and passion for Pittsburgh sports on air. And he was even better in person. Stan, we didn’t just love the show. We loved you. https://t.co/ctgI03DrlY

Rich Cholodofsky wrote an excellent story on the politicization of school boards in the region and how the culture wars that such politicization has spawned is impacting education. Great read two days before the May 16 primary. https://t.co/3F30v5Vhlj

FOREVER CHANGED https://t.co/dHgyAPYlIy Excellent story by Jonathan Silver on the people whose lives almost ended with the collapse of the Fern Hollow Bridge. How no one was killed remains a miracle.
