BOISE, Idaho — Complicated and confusing are two ways to describe the state of laws on abortion in Idaho. The laws themselves are relatively straight forward, basically no abortions in the Gem State. However, the legal landscape and overlap with federal influences can be hard to track, something doctors in recent years have said makes them feel uneasy. Some have simply left the state in response to practice elsewhere. In the legal history of it all, the run-on sentence gets even longer.
