The Vandals have worn yellow helmets the last few years after wearing light gold helmets during the Paul Petrino era. The new black helmets feature decals of "Grumpy Joe" and Vandal script lettering. Idaho kicks off the 2025 regular season on August 30 down the road in Pullman against Washington State.
