More details have emerged about a massive South End data center. Virginia-based PowerHouse Data Centers and Louisville-based Poe Cos. announced plans in January for a new 400-megawatt data center campus on Camp Ground Road just west of Shively. Construction is expected to get underway later this year. The 150-acre site will be Louisville’s first large-scale data center with the aim of courting tech giants like Google, Amazon and Microsoft.

Aimee Conrad-Hill has been named executive director of the Falls of the Ohio Foundation, effective March 31, according to a news release. Conrad-Hill is a veteran of the nonprofit world, having most recently worked as executive director of America’s Construction Talent Network, an Indiana-based nonprofit aimed at building the country’s construction workforce.

A Downtown parking garage next to the Hall of Justice has a new owner. Advocacy Plaza, located at 701 W. Jefferson St., has been purchased by a Cincinnati-based private partnership, according to a news release from Cushman & Wakefield | Commercial Kentucky. Austin English and Craig Collins of Cushman & Wakefield represented the seller Park Eze. English told Business First in an email that the garage sold to Advocacy Plaza LLC for $11.65 million.
