What's left of the former Givaudan plant that exploded last November will soon be demolished in Clifton. Mayor Craig Greenberg's office announced on Thursday that the process would be lead by Givaudan, but would be closely monitored by several agencies within Metro Government. Those agencies include the Air Pollution Control District, Codes and Regulations, Public Health and Wellness, and MSD.
LMPD: Investigation underway after human remains found in creek in Bashford Manor

The Louisville Metro Police Department is investigating after a decomposed body was found in a creek in Bashford Manor Tuesday afternoon. Around 1:45 p.m. Tuesday afternoon, officers were called out to the 3400 block of Gladden Drive. According to police, a person reported discovering what looked like a severely decomposed body of a man in Beargrass Creek. LMPD's Homicide Unit responded to the scene and is now working to conduct a death investigation.
