SHREWSBURY — Gabby Demac couldn't be prouder that she's running this 129th Boston Marathon for the Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge Team. She knows firsthand how the world-renowned cancer center in Boston has worked wonders with patients and their families, providing compassionate care with teams of doctors and staff. For more than five years now, Demac is in remission, cancer free, and couldn't be more grateful to her teams of health providers in Boston.

Beth Songer, a Six Star Finisher, is running her third Boston Marathon on April 21st. Inspired by her sister-in-law, Songer began running after the Boston Marathon bombing. Songer will participate in the Boston to Big Sur Challenge, running the Big Sur International Marathon six days after the Boston Marathon. She aims to run marathons in as many US states as possible, with California being her 11th. When is running a Boston Marathon not quite enough?
