#STLCards RHP Andre Granillo, who will be making his MLB debut when he gets into a game, said UC-Riverside coach and former Cardinals RHP Troy Percival taught him a cutter that ultimately became a slider — a pitch that has allowed him to strike out 46 in 29.2 IP in Triple-A.

#STLCards manager Oli Marmol said that 2B/LF Brendan Donovan (left big toe sprain) reported feeling better today. He will play catch today and “move around some.” Whether he goes on the 10-day IL will likely be determined by Friday when Donovan is expected to try and take BP.
