Tampa Bay (CBS12 News) — The Florida Panthers clinched the 'Battle of Florida' on Wednesday night with a 6-3 Game 5 win in Tampa Bay. The victory means the Panthers win the series 4-1, moving onto the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The Cats will now take on either the Toronto Maple Leafs or Ottawa Senators for a trip to the Eastern Conference Finals, and a chance to win back to back Stanley Cup Championships.

AUGUSTA, Ga. (AP News) — Jupiter resident Rory McIlroy stayed strong in a playoff on Sunday at the Masters and held on to win his first ever Masters Tournament. McIlroy lost the lead on his second nine, and then missed the winning putt on 18, delaying the glory of victory for one more hole. But he shot one better than Justin Rose on their sudden death playoff hole, entering the history books with tears steaming down his face.

There would be no better way to celebrate the Gators winning the National Championship on Monday night, than to win the Masters on the same week. "I've been a Gator fan my entire life," says Horschel. "And it's awesome that I hear so many, go, Gators and, congrats on the national championship. Obviously stayed up and watched the game.
