BARABOO — The abandoned Ringling Hospital has been vacant on Baraboo’s north side for more than two decades, but a “convoluted” ownership situation is inhibiting redevelopment. The former hospital, located at 1208 Oak St., still stands, but the property is “a literal no-man’s land,” according to city engineer Tom Pinion, since the owner died in 2013 and its LLC, Baraboo Luxury Apartments LLC, subsequently was dissolved, according to state records.
