I like the weight, thickness, bracelet, wearability, colorway, movement, etc. I wear it about once a week. Less than my Mido or Ball, more than my Seikos or Aragon’s. That my friend is the thickest water-resistant watch in the world. Singularly unique, sculptured in design, hand-crafted in Switzerland, and water resistant to three atmospheres. It was the sports watch of the '80s. It tells time simultaneously in Monte Carlo, Beverly Hills, London, Paris, Rome, and Gstaad.

#1 · hello, I have just bought a 1970s Spaceman Audacieuse wristwatch from a UK auction. I want to check that it is okay and is authentic. I don't mind if it has had later replacements, but obviously would like it to be authentic! Any advice would be very much appreciated. Also,if anybody has a manual to purchase please?

Hello, I plan on purchasing a watch for my mother in law who is 74 years old. I had purchased Seiko SUR 354: Unfortunately she does not use it; probably reading problem. This is a 30 mm watch. I planned on buying this: 40mm watch. The seller does not have this watch and recommended me this: Same watch but he said that black borders on the hands and indices make this an easier to read watch with the dark blue dial. Is this true?

#2 · Its a "precisionist" movement built to do so. "He's just a witness" #3 · A "normal" quartz movement is driven by a stepping motor, which, as its name implies, moves in steps. In fact, the "normal" motor moves once per second. The gear train is driven directly by the motor and the seconds hand is nearest to the stepping motor, so it's bound to show the second-by-second motion.

#1 · I have a Casio MTG-900 which is nearly fifteen years old now. It's still running like a champ, but I do notice that if it doesn't get a radio sync, by the end of the day, it is about a second and a half fast. I know that quartz oscillators tend to increase in frequency as they age, so this is not unexpected.
