Longtime club professional Jason Caron continues to live out a dream on behalf of many club pros, by continuing to succeed in tournament golf, this time by nearly winning the PGA Tour Champions Cologuard Classic on Sunday. The head professional at Mill River Club in Oyster Bay, N.Y., Caron birdied the final three holes at La Paloma Country Club in Tucson, Ariz., putting him into a playoff with Steven Alker, who won with a birdie on the first extra hole.

On the second playoff hole, the par-5 18th, at Vidanta Vallarta in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, Campbell hit his tee shot wildly right and destined for out of bounds, when it caromed off a tree and back into play.
