Among 84 local ZIP codes with sales, prices increased in the past year in 62 and decreased in 22. Priciest ZIP? Newport Beach 92661 has a $7.2 million median. Cheapest? Laguna Woods 92637 at $539,000. Sales were up in 48 ZIPs, down in 31 and 5 were flat. Busiest ZIP? Irvine 92618 with 74 sales. Overall, the countywide median of $1,200,000 was up 4% over 12 months.
