    Charlie Jennings, aka The Chaos Kid (Image: Hayley Attrill) A SIX-year-old Isle of Wight boy is believed to be the UK's youngest wrestling performer. Charlie Jennings, from Cowes — aka The Chaos Kid — opened Outcast Pro Wrestling's Easter show at The Bay School in Sandown. It was a landmark for the youngster. His mum, Hayley Attrill, said: "I used to watch wrestling on the telly, and, as Charlie got a bit older, I took him to an Outcast Pro Wrestling show in May last year.

The outlook is promising for outdoor activities, despite some slightly unsettled weather forecast by Jamie Russell, of the Isle of Wight Met Service. Good news is that weekend temperatures are set to hit 21C. The Isle of Wight is forecast to see highs of 18C today (Friday), 20C tomorrow (Saturday), and 21C on Sunday.

(Image: Paul Blackley) THE most anticipated match of the local football calendar — the Isle of Wight Senior (Gold) Cup final — will be extra special when holders Cowes Sports take on old rivals East Cowes Vics tomorrow (Saturday). The match will be played at the Zilch Waste Stadium, commonly known as Westwood Park, the home of Cowes Sports.

    Wight Tri’s Simon Jones. (Image: Claire Squirrel) A DUATHLETE from the Isle of Wight secured a silver medal in Poland. Simon Jones, who qualified last year for the European and World Duathlon Championships, competed in the 65-69 age group category, over the weekend of April 26 and 27. The sprint race in Rumia took an unexpected turn, when Simon pulled up with a strained muscle, jeopardising Sunday's standard race. However, after some rest and massage therapy, he managed to compete.
