A known drug personality, who surrendered to authorities under the Duterte administration’s “Oplan Tokhang” in 2016, was arrested by the police in Muntinlupa on May 11. The suspect was identified by the police as alias Komang, 56, tricycle driver, and a resident of Aplaya Looban in Barangay Cupang, Muntinlupa. Komang, listed as a high value individual, reportedly returned to illegal drug activity. The police executed a search warrant that led to his arrest and confiscation of 50 grams of shabu.

A Korean YouTuber in the Philippines was criticized for making videos of himself paying Filipino women to drink their breast milk. Korean media outlet JTBC’s news program “Crime Chief” reported that the Korean YouTuber produces content containing daily life, eating shows (“mukbang”) and travel in the Philippines. The report stated that the YouTuber is being criticized by the Korean community in the Philippines for making videos about the breast milk purchased from Filipino women and drinking it.
