Police operatives arrested a driver tagged as one of the most wanted persons in Taguig on April 16. A team from the Taguig Police’s Warrant and Subpoena Section apprehended the suspect, identified as alias Edgar, 54, at his residence in Barangay Palingon-Tipas, Taguig. Edgar was classified as the No. 6 most wanted person of Taguig police for the second quarter of the year.

The new Korean drama “Karma” edged out “When Life Gives You Tangerines,” starring IU and Park Bo-gum, in the weekly rankings on Netflix. Netflix released its weekly Global Top 10 lists for April 7 to 13 of the most watched films and shows on the streaming platform. Under the non-English shows list, “Karma” placed No. 2 with 4.8 million views, rising from its debut position at No. 5 last week with 3.6 million views.

The Muntinlupa City government will receive a donation of a patient transport vehicle (PTV) from the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO). Muntinlupa Mayor Ruffy Biazon recently signed a deed of donation for the PTV with Department Manager III Orlando Malaca of the PCSO Charity Assistance Department as a witness.  Arnel Casas, assistant general manager of the Charity Sector, is the signatory on behalf of the PCSO.

K-pop boy band Astro will be holding a concert together with former member Rocky. Their agency, Fantagio, announced that the Astro concert will be titled “Stargraphy.”"Since it's been a while since we've held a concert under the name Astro, we had in-depth discussions with the members and decided to ask former Astro member Rocky to join us for this concert, and he ended up participating,” the agency said. The current members of Astro are Cha Eun-woo, MJ, Jinjin and Sanha.

“Sinners,” a film directed by Ryan Coogler, is set to open in cinemas on April 19. Coogler, who also helmed  “Creed” and “Black Panther,” said his earliest memories of movies were “while sitting in a darkened room, full of strangers, and being absolutely terrified by something that was happening on the screen,” “That feeling of being with others, the unison, the horror and delight made me feel like home. That’s where it began for me…” he said.
