LAUDERDALE COUNTY, Ala. — A judge facing multiple felony counts of use of his office for personal gain is scheduled to take part in a settlement conference in June. Court documents show Lauderdale County Judge Gilbert Self is set to appear at a pre-trial session on June 3 at 1:30 p.m.  at the Lauderdale County Courthouse. The purpose of the session is "to either accept or reject (an) offer" from the State that would avert a trial.
