The details were released after Dayetssi Carrasquillo Pizarro was safely recovered during a traffic stop that led to the arrest of a 32-year-old man who had previously been detained for taking the same child from her guardians.

Court documents show Lauderdale County Judge Gilbert Self is set to appear at a pre-trial session on June 3 at 1:30 p.m.  at the Lauderdale County Courthouse. The purpose of the session is "to either accept or reject (an) offer" from the State that would avert a trial.
