Two British tourists were killed in a cable car crash in southern Italy that claimed the lives of four people. Italian news agency Ansa has reported that two British tourists and an Israeli national were among the four people who died in the crash on Thursday (April 17), at Monte Faito in the town of Castellammare di Stabia, citing Naples mayor Gaetano Manfredi. A traction cable snapped, halting the cable car.

A Chinese PhD student has been convicted of drugging and raping 10 women. Zhenhao Zou, 28, was found guilty of the attacks after a month-long trial at Inner London Crown Court. He was convicted on Wednesday of the harrowing attacks involving two women who have been identified and another eight who have yet to be traced. He filmed nine of the attacks as “souvenirs”, and kept a trophy box of women’s belongings, jurors in his trial were told.

London is set to see a break from the cold snap this week as a new weather map shows temperatures could rise to 15C. Cloudy days scattered with sunshine can be expected this upcoming week, with it getting much warmer as we head into the weekend according the Met Office data. A new map from Netweather shows London experiencing temperatures up to 15C on Friday (February 21) at around 3pm through to beyond 6pm.
