    WASHINGTON — On a recent afternoon the lunch rush was in full swing as Hill staffers stood in line in one of the Capitol’s many dining spots. From Dunkin’ to Subway to a beloved frozen yogurt stand, the options available can fulfill any craving. As most Americans can agree, everyone needs to eat. But the overwhelming majority of Americans — nearly 80% — said that the United States is more divided than ever before, according to a recent Gallup study. The makeup of the 119th Congress is no different.

    BOSTON — Harvard University became the final Ivy League school last week to partner with QuestBridge’s National College Match, committing to admit low-income students with full scholarships despite a national push against diversity, equity and inclusion programs. Since 1994, QuestBridge has connected high school seniors with leading U.S. universities. It currently has 55 college partners, now including all eight Ivies.

    Northwestern freshman Aaron, who wanted to use a pseudonym for safety, hovered his computer mouse over Shepard Hall on a map before dropping a pin with a message. “I had my first kiss on campus in Shepard. It was the first time I felt I could be openly gay,” read his note. Aaron just added a digital landmark on Queering The Map, an interactive online platform where LGBTQ+ people can tag a location and share an anonymous experience.
