(CBS NEWSPATH) — Con artists are trying to take advantage of people during the cold winter months through utility bill scams. Utility company scams have affected several residents in Pennsylvania including Philadelphia resident Dan Deming. He said he became suspicious when he received a call from someone claiming to be from his power company. “A gentleman on the other end told me that my service was about to be shut off,” Deming said.

Former President Donald Trump's claim that "massive CHEATING" is happening in Philadelphia on Election Day is false, officials said. Trump made the claim on Truth Social just after 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. He didn't provide any evidence for his claim.
