Austin’s high-end condo market got a jolt last week, with two condos over $2 million going under contract and six more landing on the market. Twelve homes listed for over $2 million went under contract last week in Austin, along with 10 single-family homes and two condos, according to the Eklund Gomes luxury report. One of the condos, at the Austonian, was listed for $2.3 million, and the other for $2.2 million at an eight-townhome complex at 706 West Avenue.

A $25 million mansion in Far North Dallas is the latest to join the rush to luxury real estate’s spring buying season. The estate at 5530 North 40th Place hit the market last week, adding to a growing wave of high-end listings across Texas as sellers look to capitalize on renewed demand. Keller Williams Realty will sell an equity investment stake to CoreLogic parent Stone Point Capital after decades remaining staunchly privately owned. Stone Point will make a significant investment in the nation’s largest real estate brokerage by agent count in a deal expected for weeks — the company will be owned by Gary Keller, Stone Point Capital and “other members of the company’s leadership team,” Inman first reported. The investment size or ownership breakdown wasn’t disclosed.

​​Stewart Parker was named president of Landsea Homes’ DFW division. Parker was previously vice president of national homebuilding operations for San Francisco–based Homebound. He replaces Landsea’s former division president Melissa Kelly. Landsea entered the Texas market in 2021 and relocated its headquarters to Dallas in 2023. Its DFW division was established last year following Landsea’s acquisition of Antares Homes, and it offers homes for sale in 24 communities across the DFW and Austin areas.
