June 8, 2025 – Ozaukee Co., Wi – On Sunday, June 8, 2025, at approximately 12:22 p.m., the Cedarburg Police Department received a report of a domestic disturbance occurring at a residence on Wilshire Drive in the City of Cedarburg. The caller indicated that a 50-year-old male who resided at the address was intoxicated, threatening family members, and loading up ammunition into magazines. Prior to officers arriving at the scene, the suspect left the residence in his vehicle.

Waukesha Co., Wis. – The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is investigating a fatal boating accident in neighboring Waukesha County, WI. At approximately 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 7, the Muskego Police Department and Tess Corners Fire Department responded to a reported boat accident at Idle Isle Park on Little Muskego Lake in Muskego. A 10-year-old was injured in the boating accident. Immediate care was provided at the scene before the child was transported to a local hospital.

Washington Co., Wi – The deadline is Monday, June 9 to apply to fill the seat for Washington County Circuit Court in Branch 2 following the retirement announcement of Judge James K. Muehlbauer. According to ballotopedia, Muehlbauer was first appointed to the position by Governor Jim Doyle in 2007 and was elected in 2008. He ran for re-election to the Washington County Circuit Court in 2014 and was reelected in 2020.
