Boulders of petrified wood, jade and quartz — each of them weighing about a ton — sparkle in the sun outside the Lizzadro Museum of Lapidary Art in Oak Brook. Tucked away in a suburban office park, the Lizzadro is a hidden gem that highlights lapidary, the art of collecting, carving, polishing, setting and displaying precious stones and minerals. One of the first treasures you see is a towering incense burner made of extremely rare blue jade.

Lauren Doyle played four sports in high school, and was on the cheer team—none of them were rugby. She was recruited by Eastern Illinois University onto a team where most of the players had never played the sport. After a successful college career, she was quickly placed on the brand new Olympic team for the 2016 games—the first Olympics with rugby as a sport since the 1920s. After playing again in Tokyo, she and Team USA return to the world stage this month in Paris. Reset gets the full story.
