If you’ve always wanted to live out your rock star fantasy, this is your time to shine. This VaHi bar sits beneath Dark Horse and hosts karaoke nights (lovingly called Metalsome), where you can sing on stage with a drummer and guitarist shredding behind you. The Shuckin’ Shack Oyster Bar chain is sliding into the former South Main Kitchen space in Alpharetta this spring. Expect a raw bar where you’ll have a front row seat to oyster shucking, a pass-through window to the street, and a giant shark that presumably isn’t part of the menu but will be judging your cocktail choices. Popular food truck Momma’s Cup of Rice is going brick-and-mortar with a location in Fayetteville.
