Open 24 hours, Monday-SundaySublime makes some of our favorite donuts in Atlanta—they have the perfect consistency, soft and pillowy, and a boat load of flavors, from the delicious dulce de leche to the sweet cream-filled A-Town Cream. Both the Georgia Tech and North Druid Hills locations are open 24/7, so you can enjoy their donuts whenever the mood strikes, which, if you’ve ever been to Sublime, is probably often.

MTH Pizza, from the team behind Roshambo, is a casual Smyrna spot that works best for low-stakes hangs—weekly trivia, post-kid-soccer dinners, or group catch-ups over a pie. The pizzas here are better than your average neighborhood pizzeria. The crust has a nice mix of crunch and chew, and they flex a few reimagined twists on classics, like the pecorino-loaded Marry Me Chicken pizza with tangy sun-dried tomatoes and white sauce. Wings are also worth adding, especially the plump lemon pepper.

Sometimes you want those big, made-for-weekends breakfast plates without the overstimulation (hookah, flower walls, and loud music) that usually accompanies Atlanta’s brunch scene. That's when Rosie’s Coffee Cafe in East Point steps in, offering a cozy, downhome atmosphere serving up generously portioned comfort food. The wood-paneled, sunlit space feels like a big neighborhood coffee shop, the kind you can settle into for hours.

The Shuckin’ Shack Oyster Bar chain is sliding into the former South Main Kitchen space in Alpharetta this spring. Expect a raw bar where you’ll have a front row seat to oyster shucking, a pass-through window to the street, and a giant shark that presumably isn’t part of the menu but will be judging your cocktail choices. Popular food truck Momma’s Cup of Rice is going brick-and-mortar with a location in Fayetteville.

The team behind Talat Market is bringing a new Thai restaurant and bar, Some Luck, to Poncey-Highland this summer. The new restaurant will take over the Highland Ballroom Lounge space and will feature bar snacks, noodle soups, wings, and other dishes inspired by late-night food stalls in Thailand. And it's expected to stay open late, so we have plans to roll up in our PJs to order Thai beer and eat grilled meats. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists.
