If you’ve always wanted to live out your rock star fantasy, this is your time to shine. This VaHi bar sits beneath Dark Horse and hosts karaoke nights (lovingly called Metalsome), where you can sing on stage with a drummer and guitarist shredding behind you. While it’s geared towards metal and rock, there’s more variety than you’d think—even headbangers have love for Kelly Clarkson. Ten High's small, grungy space gets crowded.

There’s parking onsite and on the street at Summerhill’s Talat Market (just don’t block anybody’s driveway, OK?). Not paying to park means you’ll have more coins to order the bulk of things from the small, constantly changing menu. And you should, since Talat’s Thai dishes are better than anywhere else—like their vibrant, spicy green curry soup, fried octopus in fiery XO sauce, and a tropical margarita made with fresh pineapple and lime.

Open 24 hours, Monday-SundaySublime makes some of our favorite donuts in Atlanta—they have the perfect consistency, soft and pillowy, and a boat load of flavors, from the delicious dulce de leche to the sweet cream-filled A-Town Cream. Both the Georgia Tech and North Druid Hills locations are open 24/7, so you can enjoy their donuts whenever the mood strikes, which, if you’ve ever been to Sublime, is probably often.

Painted Park is the fresh-faced newbie of the Beltline, with a multilevel space to sip local beers and a green space that could be the talk of a lawn Facebook group. No one is really here for the food. The crowds milling around are here to catch sports on the many TVs, jump in for a round of ping pong, and open drink tabs in a place where the probability of meeting someone is legitimately likely. Cold beer, fall-off-the-bone ribs, cornhole on a patio—it doesn’t get much more summery than that.

If you’ve lived in Atlanta long enough, you’ve likely had a school field trip, family outing, or some sort of staged photoshoot at Southern Belle Farm. And if you’ve never been, consider picking fruit here a worthy notch on your Metro Atlanta punchcard. The McDonough farm and market is a fun throwback to a simpler life, when peaches came from trees and not carefully stacked mounds in the grocery aisle.

Two years later and Miles still isn't rocking with Slingy Dog Dash. 🤷🏾‍♀️But we did convince him to ride Test Track and the water slide at Castaway Cay. Growth 🙌🏾 #disney50thanniversary @ EPCOT https://t.co/IAoqWaahCb
