15-year-old turns himself in for hitting Gresham man in head with skateboard By Julia Lopez and Noor Shami GRESHAM, Oregon (KPTV) — A teenager who allegedly hit a man on the head with a skateboard in Gresham Sunday turned himself into police Tuesday evening. Around 6:30 p.m., a 15-year-old came to the Gresham Police Department with his parents. He is being held at the Donald E. Long home on suspicion of assault.

CHIPPEWA FALLS (WQOW) - This week, dozens are playing Santa: wrapping presents for kids in need with the organization Jason's Presents. The group formed in Chippewa County as a way to honor the late Deputy Jason Zunker, who was killed in the line of duty in January 2008. He was directing traffic after a truck fire near Bloomer when he was hit by a car. He was posthumously awarded a Purple Heart. Deputy Zunker had been with the Sheriff's Office for four years.

The second annual Santa Cycle Rampage, hosted by Volume One, took over downtown Eau Claire. Bikers dressed the part and took a roughly six mile ride around town.
