CLACKAMAS COUNTY, Ore. (KPTV/Gray News) - A woman in Oregon who disappeared with her two dogs was found dead weeks after she filed for divorce from her husband, according to authorities. Susan Lane-Fournier, 61, was believed to have gone on a hike with her two dogs. She was first reported missing on Nov. 22, after she didn’t show up for work. On Nov. 23, a community member found her pickup truck parked near East Salmon River Road and the Green Canyon Way Trail south of Welches.

According to the investigators with the National Transportation Safety Board, a Cessna 421C took off at 10:25 a.m. on Saturday for a maintenance test flight from Troutdale Airport. Soon after, the pilot reported “controllability issues.”Seconds later, a nearby helicopter pilot reported that the plane had crashed.

PORTLAND, Ore. (KPTV/Gray News) – Renowned chef Naomi Pomeroy drowned after a freak accident involving inner tubes and paddle boards. Pomeroy was known for her numerous restaurants around the Portland, Oregon, area and for being a contestant on “Top Chef Masters” in 2011. She was 49 years old. The Benton County Sheriff’s Office confirmed Pomeroy drowned on the Willamette River in Corvallis, about 100 yards upstream from the Mary’s River, on Saturday evening.
