PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) - Auntea Ha, a boba tea shop in North Portland, is living through a nightmare. The owner said a customer they thought they had a good relationship with is caught on camera throwing rocks through their windows after threatening staff. Ha Phan just celebrated three years on North Interstate Avenue. Phan has developed a loyal customer base selling boba and fruit teas, but one customer is responsible for the wooden boards that now cover the door and a window.

(KPTV) - This summer, a Portland nonprofit is bringing free summer programming and equipment rentals back to Sellwood to support parents and the community. “We’re really calling this our recreation revival summer,” said Ashley Murray, executive director of Sellwood Community House. She said the revival of recreation hub, The Shack, in Sellwood Park, marks a culture shift in Portland.

PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) - Three people were arrested late Saturday and early Sunday after the Portland Police Bureau declared a riot near the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement building. PPB said they had “been informed” that a federal officer was injured by the crowd shortly before 6 p.m.A riot was declared shortly after, as medics made their way through the crowd to attend to the officer. It was later determined that the officer did not require medical attention.

PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) - The David Campbell Memorial used to be a sparkling tribute to Portland’s fire service. Its fallen members were memorialized in plaques beginning in the 1900s, but today, they’ve been stolen or torn up. Families of those members are now working alongside a retired firefighter to bring that recognition back. “He loved to cook, we cooked together often. I really miss being able to cook with him,” Laura Godson described her brother George. George Godson is a Portland legend.

SALEM Ore. (KPTV) - Oregon’s National Guard is participating in a big unveiling and an important research phase. Flight paramedics who have responded to local rescue missions and wildfires for decades are helping to craft the future of U.S. Army technology with patients as a priority. For years, the National Guard has relied on Black Hawk helicopters to aid in mountain rescues and wildfire water dumps. Their current units, however, are now equipped with brand-new hoist technology.
