Spatial correlation of desorption events accelerates water exchange dynamics at Pt/water interfaces The altered solvation structures and dynamical properties of water molecules at the metal/water interfaces will affect the elementary step of an electrochemical process. Simulating the interfacial structure and dynamics with realistic representation will provide us with a solid foundation to make contact with experimental studies.

Although semiconductor-based photocatalysis is promising, the C − H bond activation mechanism remains elusive. Herein, we report value-added coupling products from a wide variety of biomass and fossil-derived reagents, formed via C − H bond activation over zinc-indium-sulfides (Zn-In-S).

Purpose. This study aims to investigate the synergistic antimicrobial activity of four phytoalexins in combination with fluoroquinolones against Ureaplasma spp. a genus of cell wall-free bacteria that are intrinsically resistant to many available antibiotics making treatment inherently difficult. Methodology. A total of 22 958 urogenital tract specimens were assessed for Ureaplasma spp. identification and antimicrobial susceptibility.

Covalent organic frameworks (COFs) hold great promise for solar-driven hydrogen production. However, metal-free COFs for photocatalytic overall water splitting remain elusive, primarily due to challenges in simultaneously regulating their band structures and catalytic sites to enable concurrent half-reactions.
