AbstractTesticular germ cell tumors (TGCTs) are the most common malignancy in young men, exhibit a unique developmental origin and exceptional chemosensitivity. However, the molecular distinctions between TGCT subtypes remain poorly understood. Here we present a comprehensive genomic analysis of 252 treatment-naive primary TGCTs, integrating deep whole-genome sequencing with matched transcriptomic and epigenomic data.

TO THE EDITOR: I had the privilege of perusing Dr. Kaufmann’s1 latest publication (Kaufmann AM. Hemifacial spasm: a neurosurgical perspective. J Neurosurg. 2023;140[1]:240-247) and am thrilled to acknowledge his incisive interpretation of the essence behind microvascular decompression (MVD) surgery. It is regrettable that such a significant process has not garnered a deserved acceptance in North America.
