BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - Students at Rudder High School were welcomed back with a celebration Tuesday. Administrators were excited to host the welcome party where the band played and cheer squad chanted as students entered the building. “We want them to enjoy high school and want to be here, and just know the teachers work hard and everyone has their best interests in mind,” said Principal Rachel Layton. BRAZOS COUNTY, Texas (KBTX) - College Station police (CSPD) arrested two people Tuesday when authorities said stolen bank cards and hundreds of pieces of mail were found on the suspects. After responding to a call about a suspicious car from a gas station employee, CSPD arrived to the Chevron on FM 158 to find Tarah Hill, 33, of Bryan and Cody Polanco, 24, of Katy asleep inside.

BRAZOS COUNTY, Texas (KBTX) - A Brazos County woman was taken into custody after allegedly threating to kill her landlord. According to county court documents, just after 7:30 Monday evening Brazos County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) deputies were sent to a home on the 800 block of Nemec Lane in reference to a disturbance with a weapon. BCSO said 43-year-old Keisha Strelsky was confronted by her landlord who was selling the house and was upset about the condition of the property.

BRAZOS COUNTY, Texas (KBTX) - A College Station man accused of breaking into multiple vehicles over the weekend is now in police custody. According to reports from the Bryan Police Department (BPD), officers witnessed Conner Zaragoza, 22, breaking into vehicles in the Alamosa Springs neighborhood near the Brazos County Expo Complex during an investigation on Sunday.
