    PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville baseball team was picked to finish sixth in the conference, according to the 2024 WIAC Preseason Poll conducted by the league's head coaches and sports information directors.     PENSACOLA, Fla. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville baseball team (2-4) played its first game in Florida on Saturday night against Carroll (Wis.). In a battle of Pioneers, UW-Platteville picked up an 11-3 victory. Carroll scored one in the bottom of the first on a couple of hits to take the early lead before UW-Platteville put together a four-run third inning. Sophomore Chris Tsouras drove in the first run with a single, before later scoring on an error by the pitcher.

    TOPEKA, Kan. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville baseball team (0-3) played two more games in Topeka on Sunday afternoon falling 4-1 to Luther (3-3) in the first game before dropping a 13-3 decision in seven innings to Augustana (Ill.) in game two. Luther opened the scoring with a pair of runs in the second on an RBI single and a two-out solo home run. The Norse added another in the fourth as a pair of walks and a double made it 3-0.
