The company flipped an abandoned Fayetteville hotel into affordable apartments. The GoodHomes Cedar Creek Apartments started leasing in February and about 25 percent are occupied. There are more than 200 studio and one-bedroom units inside.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) — Cumberland County Animal Services Center is in need of urgent help as the animal shelter has reached capacity. A drug bust on Tuesday along Reeves Street in Fayetteville added 14 dogs to an already crowded shelter. Fayetteville police called animal services to remove the dogs from the home after arresting the owners.
