At what point does an L.A. resident become an L.A. local? The Times wanted to know, so we asked readers what solidified it for them. When did they feel like an Angeleno? Some L.A. transplants said they felt like a local after experiencing their first wildfire season or when they mastered the freeways. We also heard from people who were born and raised in L.A. but only began proudly claiming their hometown as their own after learning about its rich history or leaving for a period of time.
