    BLOOMINGTON — Multiple businesses sustained significant damage Thursday night after a fire caused a roof to collapse in a one-story strip mall in Bloomington, fire officials said. Bloomington firefighters were dispatched around 8:20 p.m. to the 1100 block of East Lafayette Street where they found smoke emanating from a commercial building, according to a news release from the department issued Friday morning.
