We are speaking of Farrington St.Wallace Rider Farrington was born in 1871 in Maine and became a newspaper reporter following his public education. In 1894, he came to Hawaii and became an Editor for the Pacific Commercial Advertiser, which has evolved into today’s Honolulu Star-Advertiser.

HONOLULU (KHON2) – As showers redevelop tonight, a few heavier showers may develop in the vicnity of Kauai. Otherwise, this upper low will slowly drift eastward across the state through Tuesday contributing to a slow eastward spreading of weak instability. Upstream visible imagery suggests a steady supply of shallow moisture which will favor continued showers over windward and mauka areas through early this week.

HONOLULU (KHON2) — “The Journey Forward,” a new art exhibit opening up in Chinatown on April 12, is going to be filled with artwork made by stroke survivors. Organizers of the event say that the exhibit, which will be hosted at Downtown Art Center, will be visually stunning. “[Visitors] can expect, first of all, a beautiful show of colorful art,” said Creative Director Carol Khewhok.
