StuffThe Press Leaders Debate will be one of three to be livestreamed on Stuff during the 2023 election campaign. The series kicks off next week with the Great New Zealand Infrastructure Debate hosted by Stuff chief political correspondent Tova O’Brien who will put questions to a panel of leaders from Labour, National, The Greens, ACT and NZ First.

    Until retirement in 2010, Phil Bagshaw was Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of Otago Christchurch, where he practised as a specialist General Surgeon, taught surgery, and did research. In 2007, he opened a charity hospital for patients who can’t access public hospital care and can’t afford private care. He chairs the Trust that runs it and works as a volunteer.
