    FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE)- The man who died behind the wheel of the vehicle that went into the Friant-Kern canal Friday night has been identified. Just before 8:30 p.m., the California Highway Patrol says its officers were dispatched to the area of State Route 180, east of Zumwalt Avenue, for a report of a vehicle crash. They say they arrived to find a Honda Accord that had veered off the eastbound lanes of the highway and landed in the canal.

    FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A man believed to be the resident of a trailer was found dead Sunday afternoon after it became engulfed in flames in northwest Fresno, the Fresno Fire Department says. Just after noon, the agency received a call about a house on fire in the 2200 block of Cornelia Avenue, between McKinley and Clinton Avenues. Crews say when they arrived that a neighbor told them a man lived in a trailer inside a shop behind the home.

    FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A pedestrian, believed to be an unhoused man, died after being struck by a vehicle late Saturday night, the Fresno Police Department says. Officers were dispatched to Blackstone Avenue, near Saginaw Way, around 11:15 p.m., for a report of a collision. Police say they arrived to find a man in the roadway who had been hit by a vehicle and was suffering from serious injuries. He died at the scene.

    VISALIA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A bicyclist was struck and killed Saturday night, leaving law enforcement to track down the driver of the vehicle who struck him before leaving the scene, Visalia police say. A traffic collision was reported on Akers Street, just south of Judy Avenue, around 9:45 p.m.Officers arriving at the scene say they found a bicycle and its injured rider in the roadway, but not the vehicle involved.
