LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - Clark County continues to call on Spanish-speaking residents to open their hearts and their homes to children in foster care. Clark County explained that many of these children come from Hispanic backgrounds and benefit from staying connected to their culture. “There are approximately 30% of children in foster care who are Hispanic, and it’s very important to have these foster care information sessions in Spanish,” said family services specialist Jessica Cortez.
