According to Business Administrator Robert Saul at the board's meeting on Monday, the number has shrunk to $270,000. By the final budget's adoption in June, Saul hopes to present a budget with no deficit. The deficit is on top of a proposed 4% tax increase for district residents, Saul said. The number backs right up to the ACT 1 index for the district, set at 4%.
